Have you ever noticed that sometimes an image appears darker than you want it to be? At times, the image you take with your phone can be even darker than it appears in person. There are no actual controls on your phone to make an image brighter while you are shooting but you can trick your phone into taking a brighter image. You can control exposure by tapping the screen on darker areas of the picture. Typically you touch the screen to focus on a certain point in the frame but by making the focus point a darker part of the image you are telling your phone that that dark area is important to the picture. So as a response, your phone makes the image brighter so you can see that important area better. That’s how you trick your phone!
